888casino, 888sport and 888poker belong to the evoke group alongside William Hill and Mr Green. The similarly named 888 Bingo and 888 Ladies have a different current UK operator: Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited.

Six evoke brands compared
The group contains several different products, not six versions of a single casino. 888casino and 777 focus on casino games, 888poker has a cardroom, and 888sport is a sportsbook. William Hill brings a much older betting business and several online gaming sections. Mr Green has its own identity and a separate British operating arrangement.
The screenshots below show those differences in layout and presentation. Promotions, jackpot amounts and game selections pictured in them are historical. They help explain the brands, rather than quoting offers available today.
888casino: the original casino business and its own game studio
888casino puts its game catalogue at the centre of the page. The historical screenshot has a black-and-green layout, a left-hand menu and large featured-game cards. Eye of Horus, Huff N Even More Puff and 333 Piggy appear together, while separate links lead to live casino, jackpots and the exclusive collection. That is a different starting point from the fixtures at 888sport or the tournament lobby at 888poker.
Its exclusive-games section identifies Section8 as the group’s own studio. Titles include Sizzling Hot Jokers, Ray of Light and several games in the Time of the Titans series. This gives the casino a more specific connection to its games than simply buying access to a supplier’s standard catalogue. The casino also uses outside studios, so the 888 name should not be read as the developer of every game on the website.
The British domain sits under 888 UK Limited. Within this comparison, 777 is therefore a closer operating relative than William Hill or the current British Mr Green site. Even so, the two casinos have different presentation and promotional pages. A game carrying the 888 name can appear in the 777 lobby without turning that page into 888casino.
For someone comparing the two, the useful questions concern the particular game, its version and the promotion attached to it. A Daily 4 Jackpot version of a familiar title should be checked separately from a similarly named standard game. Match the complete title in the lobby before comparing its features or jackpot rules.
888sport: fixtures, betslips and same-match combinations
888sport uses the same family name but has a different main purpose. Its historical homepage divides the screen between sporting events and a betslip. Football, racing, tennis, golf and other sports appear across the top, with links to casino and poker kept separate. The central promotion happens to feature a slot, but the surrounding navigation still identifies a sportsbook.
The 888sport Bet Builder combines compatible selections from one event. For example, a match winner and a goals condition can form one bet where the tool allows that combination. This differs from an accumulator spanning several matches. The combined price belongs to the whole selection; multiplying two standalone prices is not a reliable way to reproduce it when the outcomes are related.
The product is also distinct from casino play in how an outcome is settled. A bet on a sporting result depends on the named market and its settlement rules, while a slot follows the rules of that individual game. Moving between the sport and casino tabs does not turn a sports reward into cash that can automatically be used under a casino promotion.

The illustrated table uses chip stacks measured in big blinds, a very different presentation from a slot’s stake selector.
The official poker-games guide covers Texas Hold’em, Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo. These formats are not interchangeable: Omaha uses four hole cards, with exactly two used in the final hand, while Hi-Lo can divide a qualifying pot between high and low hands. The guide also describes knockout tournaments, where a bounty is part of the competition. None of these should be confused with a video-poker machine found in a casino catalogue.
SNAP is its fast-fold format. Folding moves the player to another table from a shared pool, rather than requiring them to watch the rest of the hand before playing again. Cash and tournament versions are described, with mobile access also available. That changes the pace and table structure without changing poker into a guaranteed-return game.
A cash-game stake and a tournament buy-in mean different things. In a cash game, chips represent money at that table. In a tournament, the entry buys participation under that event’s prize structure. For a hypothetical £10 entry with a £1 fee, the total cost is £11; the fee is not another £1 of playing chips. The actual lobby supplies the currency, fee and tournament rules. William Hill brings a different history to evoke. The brand began in 1934 and still has a retail betting presence, whereas 888 grew from an online casino. Separate cards below the banner point towards the different gaming products.
The current William Hill Vegas lobby has sections for slots, roulette, blackjack, live casino, Slingo, bingo, arcade games and jackpots. Its organisation therefore goes beyond a bookmaker with a handful of slots attached. A reader looking specifically for roulette can enter that section directly, while a bingo player needs the bingo product and its room information.
The live catalogue includes a Vegas All Bets Blackjack game supplied by Playtech. Named branded tables are a more useful comparison than assuming every blackjack game across evoke has the same rules. Look at the table’s minimum stake, dealer rules and side bets. A game with several optional side bets can have a different overall cost from playing the basic hand alone.
The distinction from 888casino is therefore both practical and legal: William Hill has its own product navigation and a British contract with WHG (International) Limited. The 2022 acquisition brought its non-US business into the group. It did not make a William Hill online account an 888 account, and it did not bring the retained US William Hill business into the same transaction.
Mr Green: a separate casino identity and British contract
Mr Green is immediately recognisable from its green-suited character and darker green layout. The historical British screenshot gives slots, jackpots, live casino, bingo and Slingo separate menu entries. Below the main banner, named games and category filters occupy the page. This is a casino-led presentation, rather than the sports-first opening used by William Hill.
The current British website includes a Slingo section with titles such as Slingo Shark Week and Slingo Deadliest Catch. It also distinguishes slots from live casino. Slingo combines a number grid with spins and its own completion rules; it should not be mistaken for a ticket in a shared scheduled bingo room simply because the name sounds similar.
Mr Green entered William Hill’s business before William Hill joined 888. That history explains its place in evoke’s portfolio, but the current .co.uk operator is Blue Rock Managed Services. The white-label record describes the arrangement for that British domain. British customers should therefore use the .co.uk terms, rather than the former operator’s rules or another country’s contract.
The contrast with 777 is especially clear. Mr Green has a separate British operating contract and a green-character identity; 777 belongs to the 888 UK operator family and uses a lighter retro style. Compare their actual games and promotions individually. The shared corporate connection is much broader than the direct relationship between 888casino and 777.
777: another 888 UK casino with a lighter visual style
777 Casino is easy to miss in a short list of evoke’s largest consumer brands. Its domain is nevertheless Active under 888 UK Limited, and the group’s history records the launch of the retro-themed brand in 2015. It belongs beside the direct 888 casino products, rather than being treated as an unrelated alternative.
The historical screenshot shows a cream-and-mint layout, a left-hand category menu and a purple Daily Wish promotion. Featured cards include Dungeons & Dragons Reel Quest, Big Bass Football Bonanza and an 888-branded Goal Goal Goal game. The contrast with 888casino’s black-and-green design is visible, while the game branding shows a connection beneath the different colours.
The 777 catalogue separates slots, roulette, blackjack, live casino and jackpots. Its featured selection includes Sugar Rush Super Scatter, Gold Blitz Express and Live Lightning Roulette. That mix makes the brand broader than three-reel fruit machines, despite the traditional casino symbolism in its name.
The useful comparison with 888casino is the specific version of a game and the conditions of any reward. Shared operators and some shared titles do not establish that every featured game or promotion appears in both places. Likewise, a wheel shown in a historical homepage capture is not evidence that a reader can claim its pictured reward today. The individual promotion page is the relevant source for eligibility, expiry and any wagering conditions.
International brands and older names
Winner.ro extends evoke’s portfolio into Romania. The group’s brand overview describes a Romanian-licensed sports and casino business. That country focus is part of the comparison: it does not make Winner.ro a British version of 888casino, nor establish any connection to another casino merely using the word Winner in its name.
Casino-on-Net and Pacific Poker belong to the older 888 story. The corporate history records Casino-on-Net’s launch in 1997 and Pacific Poker’s launch in 2002. These help explain names that appear in old articles. They are historical names, rather than two additional current casinos alongside 888casino and 888poker. The current British register also marks casino-on-net.com and reefclubcasino.com as Inactive.
By contrast, the 888 Bingo and 888 Ladies names continued across a sale of the bingo business. A renamed company, an inactive historical domain and a sold consumer brand are three different events. Keeping those distinctions clear prevents an old family list from becoming a misleading list of places to open accounts today.
How the Corporate Group and Licence Accounts Fit Together
The company formerly named 888 Holdings adopted the evoke plc name in 2024. Its corporate history records the William Hill acquisition in July 2022. These are group relationships; they do not establish one common licence, login or set of casino terms across all brands.

Why 888 Bingo and 888 Ladies Are Different
On 7 July 2022, 888 announced completion of the sale of its entire B2C and B2B bingo business to a Broadway Gaming group company. The familiar 888 branding therefore does not make those bingo sites current 888 UK casino products.

evoke’s Brands and Their British Operators
The parent group’s name and the company on a gambling contract answer different questions. The current examples below use the UKGC’s exact-domain records, checked on 13 September 2026. The same brand can have another licensed operator in another country.

Mr Green is a particularly important distinction. evoke still lists the brand in its corporate portfolio, but the current British website appears under Blue Rock Managed Services. Mr Green Limited’s older British licence records surrendered casino and bingo permissions ending on 28 October 2024. British customers therefore deal with the operator in the current .co.uk contract, rather than the company named in older reviews.
The corporate portfolio also includes Winner, which evoke describes as a Romanian-licensed betting and casino brand. It belongs in the group’s international history, rather than being added to a list of British casino alternatives simply because the parent company is the same.
How the Group Developed
- 1997: the casino business began as Casino-on-Net, according to evoke’s corporate history.
- January 2019: William Hill acquired Mr Green & Co, bringing that brand into the William Hill business before the later 888 transaction.
- 1 July 2022: 888 completed its acquisition of William Hill’s international, non-US business. The US business was not part of that acquisition.
- July 2022: the separate bingo sale moved the B2C bingo and Dragonfish B2B operations to Broadway.
- 13 May 2024: the parent became evoke plc. The rebrand announcement expressly kept the existing consumer brand names.
- October 2024: the Winner.ro acquisition completed, as reported in evoke’s third-quarter trading update, expanding the group’s Romanian business.
The Proposed Bally’s Intralot Acquisition
On 5 June 2026, evoke and Bally’s Intralot agreed the terms of a proposed all-share acquisition. Their 17 August shareholder-meeting announcement confirms that the required shareholder votes passed. It still made the transaction subject to remaining conditions and court sanction, with effectiveness expected in the final quarter of 2026 or first quarter of 2027.
As of 13 September 2026, that is an approved proposal with completion still conditional in the cited announcement. It is not evidence that all Bally’s and evoke consumer brands already share accounts, operators or promotions. A future completed corporate transaction would also need to be distinguished from any separate changes to customer contracts.

Did the evoke rename close 888casino?
No. The May 2024 announcement changed the parent-company identity and said the consumer brands would keep their names. A corporate rename is different from a casino closure.
Are William Hill and 888 the same licensed operator?
The current British records place www.williamhill.com under WHG (International) Limited and the main 888 casino, poker and sports domains under 888 UK Limited. Their group relationship does not make those legal entities interchangeable.
Does an evoke connection make Mr Green a direct 888 UK sister?
It establishes a wider corporate-brand connection, not the same current British operating contract. Mr Green’s .co.uk domain is a White Label entry under Blue Rock Managed Services, while the main 888 products use 888 UK Limited.
Payments and support belong to the individual account
The 888 UK withdrawal guide explains that withdrawals can be allocated back to previous deposit methods using transaction balances measured over four months. It sets a £10 minimum for a partial withdrawal, with live chat available when withdrawing an entire balance below that amount. It also expressly says withdrawal reversal is unavailable in the UK.
Those details concern an 888 account. They are not a published withdrawal policy for William Hill, Mr Green or the Broadway bingo sites. Someone resolving a payment issue needs the support route for the account holding the money, its transaction reference and the method used. A parent-company name alone does not identify the team handling that request.
Promotional balances also need their own terms. For a hypothetical £20 bonus subject to 10 times bonus-only wagering, the requirement is £200 of qualifying bets. That calculation changes if the rule includes the deposit, and some games may contribute less or nothing. A poker tournament ticket, a sports free bet and casino bonus credit are different rewards even when they come from brands in the same corporate group.
What a Group Connection Means for Your Account
A parent-company relationship is useful for understanding the family tree, but account access, balances, bonuses and withdrawal rules are contractual questions. Do not assume that an 888 login works at William Hill, Mr Green or a Broadway bingo site, or that one brand’s offer applies at another. Compare the operator, country-specific domain and terms before registering.
