Jammy Monkey

Jammy Monkey Casino logo

Jammy Monkey is one of three casino brands that Viral Interactive picked up from In Touch Gaming Limited after the former casino network company’s sudden closure in 2023, and it’s a rather peculiar choice. When In Touch was winding down, Jammy Monkey was the newest member of their portfolio. There were other, older and more established In Touch brands like Dr Slot, Mr Spin, and Bonus Boss that Viral Interactive could have chosen instead. Instead, they opted for Jammy Monkey. This casino wasn’t as popular as some of the others, so it’s uncertain whether it will flourish now that it has a fresh opportunity with a new network. Part of its strategy to gain traction includes offering hundreds of free spins in its welcome package and continuing the no-deposit promotions it was known for on its previous network, which might just boost its appeal.

Pocket Win

Jammy Monkey wasn’t the only dead brand from In Touch Games Limited that Viral Interactive Limited decided to salvage. They also rescued PocketWin, which is a long-standing veteran of the iGaming scene. Like mFortune, which is another Viral Interactive casino that we’ll get to in a moment, PocketWin first made its mark when mobile casinos were still a fresh concept. Although mobile gaming has since become commonplace, PocketWin had already established a substantial and devoted fan base by then, which has helped it remain viable throughout the years. The many fans that the PocketWin brand acquired during that time are likely thrilled to see their favourite casino operational again. In acquiring the brand, Viral Interactive Limited has made a point of altering as little as possible, sticking closely to the original layout but significantly increasing the breadth and depth of its gaming selection. That ought to be a winning formula.

mFortune

When mFortune reappeared on the Viral Interactive casinos platform in late 2023, it caught everyone off guard, especially its loyal users who thought they had seen the last of their favourite online casino. mFortune was originally launched by In Touch Games in 2007 and operated under their banner until mid-2023. During its time, it became one of the most beloved independent casinos in the UK. However, it had to shut down after In Touch Games relinquished its UKGC licence due to repeated regulatory issues and substantial fines. Not wanting to let this well-regarded iGaming brand fade into obscurity, Viral Interactive Limited decided to step in and purchase mFortune. Now, the casino has been revamped and improved, offering a broader array of slots from far more providers while still featuring the exclusive slots that initially put it on the map. It’s still the same old mFortune that you remember, but it’s also a whole lot more.

Luck.com

Luck.com logo

Luck.com was the second online casino launched by Viral Interactive after the revival and relaunch of the network in 2023. Luck.com burst onto the scene with all the energy that you’d hope a bright orange casino to provide. In just a few months, it became one of the most sought-after online casinos in the UK. However, when it comes down to substance, Luck.com is essentially a revamped version of Mad Slots (more on that one in a moment). The layout remains largely unchanged, with many of the same slots featured in the most prominent positions on its homepage. While there are subtle distinctions, they’re not immediately obvious. If you examine both casinos very closely, you’ll find that Luck.com puts more emphasis on its bingo offerings, which is an aspect of the casino that deserves more recognition. Additionally, the welcome promotions differ a little between the two.

Mad Slots

When Viral Interactive Limited made the drastic decision to shut down all its existing casinos and start afresh, Mad Slots was the first new brand to go live under the born-again operator’s umbrella. This move was essentially a declaration of what was to come — a fresh chapter for Viral Interactive casinos. Mad Slots incorporates everything that players have started to value in this new era of the platform — it offers a straightforward, uncluttered design focused purely on slots. Mad Slots sticks to the basics in its approach to offering slot games; the homepage features well-known slots from leading providers, prominently displayed alongside promotions highlighted through scrolling banners at the top. At a time when casino sites are becoming more complex, the straightforward nature of Mad Slots is a breath of fresh air. It’s a site born of a simple idea, but its success proves that sometimes, simple ideas are still the best ones.

All About Viral Interactive Limited

Viral Interactive UKGC Licencing

Viral Interactive acquired its first licence from the UK Gambling Commission in August 2015; the linked gambling software licence was subsequently followed by a general betting event licence and a casino licence in April 2017, and on the 27th of November 2023, the casino brand operator was granted another licence which enabled the operator to expand its business as a provider of online bingo games. This new bingo licence came just in time for Viral Interactive to get its new online casinos and bingo platforms, including Jammy Monkey, Mad Slots and Pocket Win, up and running. To date, the casino brand operator hasn’t incurred any fines or sanctions from the UK Gambling Commission, putting the operator in the minority group of operators which haven’t failed in regards to responsible gambling practices or anti-money-laundering protocols.

Company Information

As there aren’t many details on the official Viral Interactive website, aside from licencing details and a contact email address (contact@viral-interactive.com), it takes some digging to find out more information about the company. The LinkedIn page is almost a treasure trove of information compared to what is available on the Malta-based company’s official website. The LinkedIn page confirms that the company was founded by a collective of iGaming industry veterans who converged to “build unforgettable first impressions, user experiences and innovations while delivering visual impact, low thresholds, and ease of use, all in one powerful package. There is also a disclaimer that the company is currently in a growing phase, which indicates that Viral Interactive is yet to reach its full potential in the iGaming industry, and there are plenty of bigger things to come from the company which was (according to LinkedIn) founded in 2020, has 11 – 50 employees, and 13 associated members.

Contradictory to the information available on LinkedIn, the Facebook page for the company indicates that it was also active in 2015, which is when the company made its first Facebook post and invited its followers to meet the company at Booth H50 at the iGaming Super Show, which took place in Amsterdam from the 23rd of June to the 26th of June. Back then, the company was imploring potential clients to choose Viral Interactive as their white-label casino provider of choice for creating a custom-made mobile-friendly online casino. Even at this early stage, the company could boast some high-profile game integrations, including NetEnt, Betsoft, and Evolution Gaming, in addition to impressive payment integrations, including Visa, Pay Safe Card, and Skrill. The last Facebook post was made on the 14th of December in 2016 when Viral Interactive announced that the company varied its licenced by getting the green light to operate as a sportsbook and casino.

Viral Interactive in the Press

Ever since Viral Interactive took over from where In Touch games left off when they had to surrender their licence and their online platforms on the 5th of September in 2023 due to lack of compliance with the UKGC’s licence conditions, particularly those related to money laundering, maintaining fair and transparent terms and practices, and the reporting of key events, the casino brand operator has become a major talking point with many voices within the iGaming industry. However, it is worth noting that many websites which are dedicated to keeping up to date with what’s new in terms of casino brand operators’ portfolios have been a little slow on the uptake when it comes to giving an accurate account of where Viral Interactive’s network of sister sites currently stands.

For the sake of clarity, in March 2024, we can confirm that Platin Casino, Lucky Casino and Spin Lovers are now inactive platforms and that all of the five active online casinos previously belonged to In Touch Games, including Pocket Win, Jammy Monkey, mFortune, Luck, and Mad Slots. If you knew these platforms when they belonged to In Touch Games, you may be surprised to see what kind of makeover the online casinos went through when they started to operate under the care of Viral Interactive. One of the biggest changes to the sister sites is the expansion of the game libraries. Instead of only being able to spin slots created by the In Touch Games in-house team of online slot developers, there are thousands of slots from powerhouse iGaming developers, including Pragmatic Play, Inspired Gaming, The Skywind Group, and Playson.

The website, Online Casino Groups, was among the first to speculate on the legitimacy of Viral Interactive before concluding that the casino brand operator is a legitimate company, which is testified to by its three gambling licences from the UKGC, the Malta Gaming Authority, and the Romanian Gaming Authority (ONJN). In the same article which affirms that Viral Interactive is as far from a scam company as you can get, Mad Slots was also recommended as the best platform in its sister site family. The recommendation mostly boiled down to the fact that the welcome package, consisting of a 100% deposit bonus match worth up to £200 and 100 free spins is the most generous of the lot.

In February 2024, Casino Alpha took a deep dive into Mad Slots, a standout member of the Viral Interactive network. Their comprehensive review revealed that after Viral Interactive had its way with the platform, Mad Slots became a vibrant hub for online casino fans. The review noted that with a user-friendly interface and a modern, mobile-optimised design, the platform ensures a seamless gaming experience; furthermore, the casino boasts an impressive array of over 1800 slot games, catering to a wide range of preferences. However, Casino Alpha did note that the limited number of live dealer games might not fully satisfy those seeking the thrill of real-time play – that certainly hasn’t changed from In Touch’s time at the Mad Slots helm, but on the plus side, Mad Slots shines in its bonus offerings, presenting a tantalising array of free spins and deposit bonuses. New members can revel in up to 100 free spins with no deposit required, a rare find in today’s online casino landscape. The platform’s commitment to responsible gambling is evident, with tools like game history access and reality checks available to players. On the flip side, the casino’s relatively new status in the market means it hasn’t yet stood the test of time, and the absence of phone support might be a drawback for some.
