The ownership story is more interesting than most closed brands, because Slots Of Dosh changed hands three times without ever changing its name. The terms and conditions archived in November 2012 name St Minver Limited, a private company registered in Gibraltar under number 84248 with a registered office at 23 Portland House, Glacis Road, and state plainly that all bets placed through the site were placed with St Minver. That is a genuinely different starting point from most of the brands filed alongside it today.

By the time the site was rebuilt on the Dragonfish platform, it had moved into the 888 orbit. The about page captured in October 2019 describes the games as powered by Dragonfish, the business-to-business division of 888 Holdings, operating through Brigend Limited as a wholly owned subsidiary of Cassava Enterprises (Gibraltar) Limited, and states in its footer that Slots Of Dosh was owned by Cassava Enterprises. The same footer names Virtual Global Digital Services under Gibraltar remote gaming licence 022, with the British service run by 888 UK Limited.

An unusual detail sits in the middle of all that. The about page captured in August 2020 records the brand itself as owned by 8Ball Games Ltd of The Copper Room, Deva Centre, Trinity Way, Manchester, described as a specialist in marketing online gaming services. In other words the marketing brand and the gambling licence were held by different companies, which is the classic white label shape and explains why the register files the domain rather than a trading name. The terms captured in January 2021 still gave 888 UK Limited and Gambling Commission account 39028 as the British operator.

The final move came when 888 sold its bingo business to Saphalata Holdings, the vehicle behind the Broadway Gaming Group, in a deal announced in December 2021 and completed the following year.
