Zodiac Casino Sister Sites 2024

Yukon Gold Casino

Yukon Gold Casino sister sites

Yukon Gold has been online since 2004, and it looks every second of its age. It’s the perfect example of what a member of the Zodiac Casino sister sites family looks like. None of them are lookers, and all of them feel like they passed their best a decade or more ago. Part of that is down to the fact that the UK isn’t really their target market, which is something we’ll talk about later in our review of Zodiac Casino. The view of the Yukon mountains in the background of the homepage of Yukon Gold is attractive, but it’s slightly spoiled by the unexplained presence of a rock monster and a character from an old ‘Grand Theft Auto’ video game. Such tonal mismatches are typical of the Zodiac Casino sister sites, and the result is an ugly, muddy, dated casino.

Casino Classic

Casino Classic sister sites

Casino Classic is even older than Yukon Gold Casino, having been online since 2000. That’s a quarter of a century of experience, none of which is reflected in the casino’s design. We understand that a casino called “Casino Classic” is always likely to look a little retro, but Casino Classic doesn’t look so much retro as it does ruined. It’s the iGaming equivalent of a derelict bingo hall. We know we’ve already said that none of the Zodiac Casino sister sites are lookers, but Casino Classic really takes the cake in terms of how hopelessly ancient and simple it looks. If you gave the average sixteen-year-old a one-hour crash course in web design, they’d come up with something that looks better than Casino Classic. As for why there’s a portrait painting of a character from Immortal Romance on the homepage – well, the people who designed Casino Classic obviously didn’t put any thought into it, so why should we?

Casino Action

Casino Action sister sites

Compared to most of the Zodiac Casino sister sites, Casino Action is a spring chicken. It came along in 2008, which is close to a decade after the launch of Casino Classic. If Apollo Entertainment Limited learned any lessons about the design of online casinos during those years, they didn’t apply any of them to Casino Action. It’s as shabby as the rest of them. Nothing screams “2008” like a superhero theme of the kind that Casino Action uses, so it’s nothing if not a product of its era. However, the fact that it’s still using the same theme, layout and graphics over fifteen years later is a clear sign that Casino Action hasn’t had any modernisation work or anything similar in all the years since. We think that’s probably true of all of the Zodiac Casino sister sites, and it ought to be to the same of Apollo Entertainment Limited that they’ve been left to rot like this.

Grand Mondial

Grand Mondial sister sites

Grand Mondial Casino, which is often known simply as ‘Grand Mondial,’ is a casino that ought to have a big theme. The word ‘Mondial’ is more than a little old-fashioned now – which is something that it has in common with the Zodiac Casino sister sites – but it effectively means ‘world.’ As such, Grand Mondial Casino is actually the Grand World Casino. Sadly, there’s no globe-trotting theme at this casino. Instead, the casino attempts to tempt players in with a background graphic of a woman holding a huge novelty cheque. The value of the cheque is in dollars, which is a little off-putting to players from the UK, but not as off-putting as the date. The cheque is dated November 15th 2017. We don’t think that Grand Mondial intends to convey the message that nobody’s won big money at the casino since the end of 2017, but that’s the message we received.

Zodiac Casino sister sites Grand Mondial

Luxury Casino

Luxury Casino sister sites

The casinos on the Apollo Entertainment Limited platform aren’t especially popular or high-profile in the UK. None of them are household names, and none of them have been advertised on UK television, but if you’ve heard of any of the Zodiac Casino sister sites before, Luxury Casino is likely to be the one. It seems to enjoy a slightly higher profile than the rest despite there not being an obvious reason why. It tries to look classy and thus match its luxury theme with a black and white aesthetic, but the low-res, clipping video of a spinning roulette wheel in the backdrop of the casino’s homepage just looks cheap. In fact, the only thing about Luxury Casino that doesn’t look cheap is the x200 wagering requirement it imposes on the proceeds of its welcome promotion. That’s the highest wagering requirement we’ve ever seen at an online casino, and we include those that operate beyond the reach of the UK Gambling Commission in that statement.

Zodiac Casino Review 2024

Zodiac Casino Sign-Up Offers

If you don’t look at the Zodiac Casino welcome bonus too closely, you could jump to the conclusion that it’s an attractive offer. No, it doesn’t offer the same massive matched deposit you’ll get at the likes of Luxury Casino, but it offers players eighty chances to win a jackpot of more than £4.5m. Look closer at what that really means, though. Your “eighty chances” are actually eighty free spins in Microgaming’s Mega Moolah slot, yours for a first deposit of just £1. That’s a good spin-to-cost rate, but the chances of landing that jackpot from eighty spins are hellishly slim. Even if you do, you’ll have to wager your winnings x200 before you can withdraw them. Trying to beat an x200 wagering requirement on £4.5m would likely take beyond the average human lifespan.

The bonuses, if you can call them that, extend beyond the first deposit. There’s a 100% deposit match up to £100 on deposit two, 50% up to £80 on deposit three, 50% up to £150 on deposit four, and 50% up to £150 again on deposit five. Again, though, the bonus cash is tied to a totally ridiculous x200 wagering requirement. Nobody’s ever going to clear that.

Zodiac Casino is an Apollo Entertainment Limited Casino

Apollo Entertainment is based in Malta, and holds a Malta Gaming Authority licence to go with the one it holds from the UK Gambling Commission. It also holds a licence that allows it to operate in Canada, which appears to be where its attention lies. The versions of its casinos that are available to players in Canada are vastly superior to the basic versions we get in the UK, which makes us wonder why the operator bothers with the UK market at all. The company was founded in 2008 and is thought to make something in the region of £20m per annum in revenue as of the time of writing. That’s chunky change, but it clearly means that Apollo isn’t among the iGaming industry’s biggest operators by volume – and that’s despite having more than thirty Zodiac Casino sister sites in operation all over the world.

The strange thing about the number of casinos that Apollo Entertainment operates is that they’re not white-label casinos. Typically, when an operator has so many casinos under its umbrella, it makes at least some of them for third parties and covers them with its licence. Apollo Entertainment keeps all the casinos that it makes under its own wing. It piles those casinos high with slots, but it steers clear of anything more recent. You’ll never find any live dealer games at any of the Apollo Entertainment casinos, and you can forget about anything like game shows or modern curiosities like Aviator. We can’t get to know Apollo Entertainment any better than this because the company doesn’t have a website, but it’s easy to see that it likes to keep things old-school.

Other Promotions

The welcome promotion at Zodiac Casino turned out to be a bust, but if you spend some time looking around the casino’s website, you might begin to hope that its other promotions might be better. Don’t. Despite claims on several pages that the casino offers an “award-winning” VIP loyalty scheme, there’s no trace of it. There’s no promotions page, no bonus information, no description of any of the rewards, and no reason to believe that any such scheme even exists save for these passing mentions. That might be a relief. Even if there were big-money bonuses and VIP perks here, they’d doubtless be tied to the same horrendous wagering requirements.

Featured Games at Zodiac Casino

We explained a little about what to expect and what not to expect at Zodiac Casino a couple of paragraphs ago when we were talking about Apollo Entertainment Limited. There are some things that the operator simply doesn’t do, and live casino or live dealer games are among them. If you want to know what’s popular at Zodiac Casino, just check out the scrolling list in the middle of its homepage. All of the games mentioned there are slots, and you should find that they’re fairly familiar titles.

It’s clear that of all the providers that Zodiac Casino works with, Games Global (the company formerly known as Microgaming) is its favourite. Mega Moolah is the feature slot attached to the casino’s welcome promotion, and it also appears in this list. Immortal Romance is referenced by image too, with the vampire-themed classic obviously still tearing up trees here despite knocking on for twenty years old. 9 Masks of Fire, which comes from the Games Global junior company Gameburger Studios, is also one of Zodiac Casino’s most-played options. Other highlight slots at the casino as of the time of writing include Thunder Struck: Wild Lightning, the official online slots game of ‘Terminator 2,’ and Mega Vault Millionaire.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Zodiac Casino has enough problems without making a mess of explaining its deposit and withdrawal processes, but it’s done it anyway. The casino lacks a banking page, and it doesn’t cover the very important topic of deposits and withdrawals in its FAQ. The only way of knowing which methods are accepted is by looking at the slow-moving GIF in the footer of the casino’s website, which changes to reveal the approved methods. They start with Astropay, but also include Instadebit, Skrill, Neteller, PayPal and Paysafe voucher cards. There aren’t any debit card provider logos, but we have to assume that cards are accepted else the casino would struggle to hold onto its UKGC licence. While the FAQ doesn’t give us a turnaround time for withdrawal processing, it does imply that a fee might be charged without hinting what the specific fee might be. It’s almost like this aspect of the site was designed to be irritating.

Licence and Customer Care

Zodiac Casino makes a big point of stating that you can use its live chat customer support in a variety of languages, and that support is offered all day, every day. The site doesn’t offer an email address, but there’s a contact form with a drop-down list of menu options to filter your query to the correct department if you don’t want to use the live chat option. In the UK, Zodiac Casino is covered by UK Gambling Commission licence 38620, which belongs to Apollo Entertainment Limited. The licence, which is squeaky clean at the time of writing, also applies to the Zodiac Casino sister sites.

Final Thoughts on Zodiac Casino

We usually try to maintain a balanced perspective when we’re reviewing online casinos, so we want you to bear that in mind as we spell out our opinion of Zodiac Casino, which is this:- Don’t play here. It’s terrible. We’d feel bad about being rude, but any casino that has the bare-faced cheek to offer players a supposed “welcome bonus” that comes with an x200 wagering requirement attached isn’t deserving of respect or custom. The terms are totally unfair, but even if they weren’t, the casino is awful. It’s well over a decade behind the times, it doesn’t explain its banking policy, the games collection has fallen behind the times, and it’s ugly. In the UK, we’re lucky enough to have access to hundreds of really good online casinos. Zodiac Casino isn’t one of them, and we’d advise you to steer well clear.

Zodiac Casino Player Reviews

Here are some recent reviews of Zodiac Casino we’ve picked up from around the web. We’ve edited the comments. Bear in mind that most of the reviews are of the international version of Zodiac Casino, not the UK version.

Adalberto – 15 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot

Zodiac Casino’s been an absolute blast for me! The promotions and those free spin bonuses are first-rate. Highly recommended for a fun gaming experience.

David – 15 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot

Missed out on the bonus spins promised with my £1 deposit. Left feeling short-changed.

Johanne – 15 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot

Had to repeat my question five times, only to be shuffled around and start from scratch. Ended up getting kicked off chat. Disappointing service.

Hayley – 14 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot

Zodiac’s nothing but a merry-go-round of disappointment. Poured in funds but winning’s a pipe dream. They give a little only to take it all back. It’s been a futile chase for me.

AH – 14 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot

I’d be over the moon if Zodiac dished out more free spins. The “no deposit” spins always seem to come with a catch. Open up to find you’ve got to pay to play.

JM – 14 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot

Fell for the 80 no deposit free spins ad, only to find out it’s a lie after my £1 deposit. It’s misleading and just a ploy to get sign-ups.

Keith – 13 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot

Zodiac Casino is a cut above the rest, with stellar support, thrilling new games each month, and payouts that hit the mark. Mega Moolah’s my jackpot jam. It’s the complete package for casino enthusiasts!

Zulema – 11 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot

It’s been a downhill ride with Zodiac, draining my savings and joy over two years. The introduction of automated chat agents was the last straw. A regrettable journey through and through.

Joann – 9 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot

Zodiac Casino is my virtual paradise! Exceptional service, quick payouts, and just a joy to be part of. A big thumbs up and a definite recommend to all my folks.

Tekaraka – 6 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot

From bonuses to free spins, Zodiac’s got it all. Quick to help in the chat, loads of games to choose from. Minor hiccups with lags and login issues, but overall, it’s a solid five-star experience. Keep it up!

Even More About Zodiac Casino

Zodiac Casino Adverts

Some of the newer online casinos have cottoned onto the fact that creating adverts at their own expense isn’t necessary as their affiliate partners and other figures within the iGaming industry will step in and create content to advertise casinos themselves, Zodiac Casino definitely falls into that category. The casino hasn’t created any TV or digital video ads but by watching video reviews from the likes of World Casino which doesn’t just over-face you with flashy marketing tropes and imagery, you can get a better idea of what to expect if you decide to become a member. The video review assures viewers that the site is licensed and regulated by the UKGC, the game library is mostly kitted out by the award-winning developer Microgaming, and the customer service team is available 24 / 7. Moving onto other aspects of the casino experience, the video review mentions that all of the artwork is eye-catching, navigating the platform couldn’t be easier, and the player’s welfare is paramount at Zodiac Casino due to its affiliation with various responsible gambling organisations.

As Zodiac Casino is an international affair, the platform also caught the attention of Canadian Casinos, which thoroughly explored the platform and created a one-minute introduction to the site, which starts by mentioning that the casino is known for its ability to make millionaires and its generous five-tiered welcome package. The video review then moves on to mention that you can either demo the Microgaming slots and table games for free or play for real money after signing up via desktop or mobile. When the video review was posted in 2018, Zodiac Casino had already made three millionaires via the progressive jackpot games from Microgaming, providing plenty of incentive to new players keen to find a fair casino to test their luck with.

All of the image-based ads for Zodiac Casino look like extremely dated affairs, but that hardly matters given what they are promoting. For example, one image-based advert informs new players that they can receive 80 free spins after depositing just £10. As most online casinos ask for a minimum first deposit amount of £10 – £20, Zodiac Casino has set itself apart by being extremely attractive to and accessible for players who are spinning on a budget.

Zodiac Casino Sponsorships and Partnerships

Zodiac Casino has had plenty of time to develop sponsorship deals since it was founded in 2002. Evidently, the platform has never seen the attraction in entrusting others to amplify its brand entity. The only partnership the casino seemingly needs to thrive is the one that it created with Microgaming, which has resulted in the casino giving its members access to 100% exclusive games, which cannot be found elsewhere.

Zodiac Casino Affiliate Program

Zodiac Casino, part of the Rewards Affiliates network, offers a unique affiliate program that has all the potential to be a lucrative opportunity for those interested in investing their time and marketing expertise in the online casino market. For affiliates, promoting Zodiac Casino could be a fruitful venture, given the casino’s comprehensive game selection, robust software, and commitment to security and customer service. This makes it an attractive option for potential players, thereby offering affiliates a promising opportunity to earn commissions. With the Reward Affiliates network, in your first month as an affiliate, you can earn 50% in commission, which is a stark contrast from the starting rate available from other affiliate programs. By their own admission, Reward Affiliates pays its top affiliates over £50k a month, similar sums are available to all new affiliates looking to get a slice of revenues generated by their referrals. As long as the players you sign up continue to deposit and play at the casino, you will receive a chunk of their revenue! There are three affiliate commission plans to choose from, monthly payments to look forward to, and the guarantee that you will always start each new month with a clean slate. If you want to branch out from promoting Zodiac Casino, you can choose from 30 other online casinos which are all solely powered by Microgaming, including popular sites such as Captain Cooks Casino, Golden Tiger Casino, and Blackjack Ballroom. Enquire today and unlock unlimited earning potential.

Zodiac Casino on Social Media

There is a plethora of unverified and unfollowed Facebook pages for Zodiac Casino, none of which were seemingly created by the casino brand operator. It is a very similar story if you head over to X (Twitter) and attempt to connect with the casino via that social media channel. If you are looking for the best way to keep in touch with the platform and stay in the loop about new promotions and games, you can always sign up for email updates once you become a member, or you can have fun looking through the treasure trove of new games and fixtures on the promotions page.

Zodiac Casino in the Press

On the 23rd of December in 2023, the online news platform Wales 247 published an article listing the top ten Mega Moolah players of all time, as many of the big wins have happened via Zodiac Casino, the site received several notable mentions, starting with details on how one lucky player broke a progressive jackpot slot record in January 2019 when they won over 20 million Canadian dollars while playing the original Mega Moolah game. According to Wales 247, this life-changing sum was achieved on a relatively small bet; however, the specific bet amount wasn’t specified.

In August 2016, a similar success story played out on Zodiac Casino when one lucky player wagered 1 Canadian dollar on a Mega Moolah game via his mobile and won 11.6 million Canadian dollars. The player, who has only been identified by his initials, also broke a record for snagging the biggest win via a mobile casino app. As Zodiac Casino has broken some of the most impressive records in the iGaming industry, it comes as no surprise that it continues to attract players who are looking for similar strokes of luck.
