Zodiac Casino Sister Sites 2024

Yukon Gold Casino

Yukon Gold has been online since 2004, and it looks every second of its age. It’s the perfect example of what a member of the Zodiac Casino sister sites family looks like. None of them are lookers, and all of them feel like they passed their best a decade or more ago. Part of that is down to the fact that the UK isn’t really their target market, which is something we’ll talk about later in our review of Zodiac Casino. Casino Classic

Casino Classic is even older than Yukon Gold Casino, having been online since 2000. That’s a quarter of a century of experience, none of which is reflected in the casino’s design. We understand that a casino called “Casino Classic” is always likely to look a little retro, but Casino Classic doesn’t look so much retro as it does ruined. It’s the iGaming equivalent of a derelict bingo hall. We know we’ve already said that none of the Zodiac Casino sister sites are lookers, but Casino Classic really takes the cake in terms of how hopelessly ancient and simple it looks. If you gave the average sixteen-year-old a one-hour crash course in web design, they’d come up with something that looks better than Casino Classic. As for why there’s a portrait painting of a character from Immortal Romance on the homepage – well, the people who designed Casino Classic obviously didn’t put any thought into it, so why should we?

Casino Action

Compared to most of the Zodiac Casino sister sites, Casino Action is a spring chicken. It came along in 2008, which is close to a decade after the launch of Casino Classic. If Apollo Entertainment Limited learned any lessons about the design of online casinos during those years, they didn’t apply any of them to Casino Action. It’s as shabby as the rest of them. Nothing screams “2008” like a superhero theme of the kind that Casino Action uses, so it’s nothing if not a product of its era. However, the fact that it’s still using the same theme, layout and graphics over fifteen years later is a clear sign that Casino Action hasn’t had any modernisation work or anything similar in all the years since. We think that’s probably true of all of the Zodiac Casino sister sites, and it ought to be to the same of Apollo Entertainment Limited that they’ve been left to rot like this.

Grand Mondial

Grand Mondial Casino, which is often known simply as ‘Grand Mondial,’ is a casino that ought to have a big theme. The word ‘Mondial’ is more than a little old-fashioned now – which is something that it has in common with the Zodiac Casino sister sites – but it effectively means ‘world.’ As such, Grand Mondial Casino is actually the Grand World Casino. Sadly, there’s no globe-trotting theme at this casino. Instead, the casino attempts to tempt players in with a background graphic of a woman holding a huge novelty cheque. The value of the cheque is in dollars, which is a little off-putting to players from the UK, but not as off-putting as the date. The cheque is dated November 15^th 2017. We don’t think that Grand Mondial intends to convey the message that nobody’s won big money at the casino since the end of 2017, but that’s the message we received.

Luxury Casino

The casinos on the Apollo Entertainment Limited platform aren’t especially popular or high-profile in the UK. None of them are household names, and none of them have been advertised on UK television, but if you’ve heard of any of the Zodiac Casino sister sites before, Luxury Casino is likely to be the one. It seems to enjoy a slightly higher profile than the rest despite there not being an obvious reason why. It tries to look classy and thus match its luxury theme with a black and white aesthetic, but the low-res, clipping video of a spinning roulette wheel in the backdrop of the casino’s homepage just looks cheap. In fact, the only thing about Luxury Casino that doesn’t look cheap is the x200 wagering requirement it imposes on the proceeds of its welcome promotion. That’s the highest wagering requirement we’ve ever seen at an online casino, and we include those that operate beyond the reach of the UK Gambling Commission in that statement.

Don’t. Despite claims on several pages that the casino offers an “award-winning” VIP loyalty scheme, there’s no trace of it. There’s no promotions page, no bonus information, no description of any of the rewards, and no reason to believe that any such scheme even exists save for these passing mentions. That might be a relief. Even if there were big-money bonuses and VIP perks here, they’d doubtless be tied to the same horrendous wagering requirements.
