In fact, Fabulous Bingo hasn’t been seen on TV screens since 2017. The 2017 Fabulous Bingo ad wasn’t overly original and was far from memorable. It showed a series of women consumed by their smartphones/laptops as they played bingo online while striking a pose in supermarkets, cafes, and in the comfort of their own homes. After the marginally cringey advert played out to portray how ‘fabulous’ you will feel as you play Fabulous Bingo games, the welcome bonus of £5 in free bingo games was revealed, which undoubtedly turned many players onto the relatively unknown platform.

Love it or loathe it, you cannot deny that the 2022 ‘Are You Gonna Bingo’ advert for Sun Bingo was an efficacious way for the bingo brand to bring even more brand awareness to the platform which is also always being advertised at every opportunity in the Sun newspaper. On the 4th of May in 2022, The Sun pulled all of its advertising modes together and published an online article which allows you to meet the stars of the infamous advert which depicts a diverse set of bingo fans asking each other if ‘they are going to bingo’. Most of them excitedly accepted the offer, apart from the ‘Shower Man’, who didn’t appreciate his shower being interrupted by the question but digressed that he was keen to play later. As explained by the article, the main objective of the TV advert was to paint Sun Bingo as a lively, vibrant and diverse online community which always puts the emphasis on responsibly having fun alongside thousands of happy-go-lucky bingo lovers.

The article in the Sun also alludes to how the advert follows a hattrick win at the 2021 Which Bingo award ceremony, which saw Sun Bingo snag three awards, including the best bingo site accolade, proving that the momentum for Sun Bingo, and subsequently VF2011 continues to grow, as does the platform’s credibility, which is vital given the newspaper the platform is branded on is somewhat lacking in that respect.

Of all the brands under VF2011, none have been quite as successful in the sponsorship game as Sun Bingo; its biggest sponsorship deal to date was the bingo platform’s sponsorship of the Jeremy Kyle show from July 2018 to May 2019. VF2011 Affiliate Program

VF2011 in the Press

Unlike some of its platforms which are consistently deemed as newsworthy, VF2011’s name isn’t often mentioned in the press – it doesn’t even appear to have its own website.
