Why the TGP Europe UK Network Closed

TGP Europe Limited was an Isle of Man white-label operator. Third-party brands supplied the name and marketing while TGP held the UK licence and remained responsible for the gambling activity, payments and compliance behind the British versions of those sites.

On 16 May 2025, the Gambling Commission announced that TGP had surrendered its licence after being told it would need to pay a £3.3 million penalty and make significant improvements if it wanted to keep trading in Great Britain. TGP did not agree and then continue under that settlement; it left the market instead.

The investigation found inadequate checks on business partners and their owners, weak source-of-funds due diligence for commercial arrangements, insufficient money-laundering risk assessment and inadequate consideration of illegal third-party activity. This followed a separate £316,250 penalty in 2023 for anti-money-laundering and social-responsibility failings.

The current public-register page labels every displayed TGP Europe domain inactive. The table records domains rather than pretending that overseas versions are still UK sister sites; BK8 and TLCBet each had two recorded domains.

What the Closure Means for UK Players

The Gambling Commission’s public register entry for TGP Europe Limited, captured 18 July 2026, recording the remote casino licence as surrendered.

We re-checked the public register on 18 July 2026 rather than relying on last year’s reporting. The entry for account 38898 gives a head-office address of 22A Castle Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, records zero premises, and lists the remote casino licence 038898-R-319391-020 with a status of Surrendered, running from 1 November 2014 to 15 May 2025.

The register also shows twenty-five recorded domain names and no trading names remaining, which is the administrative fingerprint of a wound-up white-label host rather than a dormant one. More than a year on from the exit, nothing in the record hints at a re-application, and the company’s decade-long British licensing history now exists purely as archive material.
