Rhino Bet Sister Sites 2026
Re-checked 3rd September 2026: one important change. BresBet — the single Rhino Bet stablemate that had carried on trading — had its own Gambling Commission licence (BresBet Ltd, account 65252) suspended on 28th August 2026, alongside Bet St George. The Commission said the suspension followed enquiries into suspected social responsibility and anti-money laundering failings, and that it is reviewing both licences under section 116 of the Gambling Act 2005. Customers can still reach their accounts and withdraw money while the suspension stands, but BresBet cannot trade normally until the Commission is satisfied. That leaves none of the old Playbook Gaming brands operating as usual today.

Rhino Bet closed its UK operations on 26th March 2025, and its former operator, Playbook Gaming Limited, went on to surrender its UK Gambling Commission licence (50122) entirely in November 2025 following a £250,000 penalty for anti-money laundering and social responsibility failings. Of the seven brands that once shared that licence, only BresBet survives today, having moved onto its own independent UKGC licence before the surrender.
What Happened to the Rhino Bet Network
BetZone

BetZone was one of the most promising brands to share Rhino Bet’s old Playbook Gaming licence, though its domain has since gone quiet following the November 2025 surrender and it is not confirmed to be trading under a successor operator. Back when it was active, loading up the sportsbook meant being confronted by a dynamic array of promotions and offers. and you will instantly be confronted by a dynamic array of promotions and offers. From Snore Bore Bonuses to the Better Luck Necks Time Bonus, there’s a series of promotions which take the sting out of disappointing results. However, with that said, if you’re mostly interested in niche or American sports, you may want to look elsewhere as, in some ways, BetZone is still as traditional as when it opened its first brick-and-mortar bookies in 1973. If you’re primarily interested in horse racing, greyhound racing, tennis, and football, consider BetZone as one of the most suitable sportsbooks for your interests. It’s traditional, but being traditional is part of what makes it popular.

Vickers
Sports bettors used to the charm of brick-and-mortar bookies don’t often get the opportunity to bet with a family-owned business, and Vickers Bet, which came into the Playbook Gaming Limited fold when the operator started offering white-label services, was the exception while it lasted. Vickers Bet has since moved on to a new operator, J R & S Leisure Ltd, so it should no longer be thought of as a Rhino Bet sister in any meaningful sense. After the launch of the app and website, Vickers Bet started to rival the sportsbook heavyweights; however, if you live in the South East, there is a chance that you will encounter one of the betting shops on the high street, which started to pop up almost 40 years ago when the retired amateur jockey, Johan Vickers, decided to create a bookmaker business which strongly focuses on horse racing fixtures. That same family-run feeling still applies to Vickers today. It can be a little myopic with its focus on horse racing, but on the other hand, if betting on horses is your thing, this was, in its Playbook days, the pick of the litter for horse racing fans — though it now runs independently of the old Rhino Bet stable.

Planet Sport Bet

Many of the brands that once shared Rhino Bet’s Playbook Gaming licence could be accused of having ambitions bigger than their operations, and that could certainly be said of Planet Sport Bet, which claimed on its own platform its desire to surpass every other sportsbook to become the UK number one. It shared many of the same pitfalls as the rest of the old Playbook stable; however, significant effort has been poured into ensuring that the promotions are as all-encompassing as possible. There are plenty of ways for horse racing bettors to claim free bets and 50% ACCA bonuses for bettors who prefer to have a flutter on football and tennis. Furthermore, the virtual loyalty club rewards players every time they place five or more bets between Monday and Sunday. It is the official iGaming presence of the much larger Planet Sport group behind Planet F1, Planet Rugby, Football365 and TeamTalk, and it has since transferred to Planet Bet Limited’s own UKGC licence rather than staying tied to the defunct Rhino Bet network.

BresBet
BresBet is the one brand from the old Rhino Bet stable that is still genuinely worth a look today. It doesn’t share quite the same lineage as BetZone or Vickers, having only come onto the online sportsbook scene in 2021 after the sports betting entrepreneur Nic Brereton saw a gap in the market to be filled with a ‘back to basics’-style platform. One thing about BresBet which is far from basic is the collection of bonuses and offers; an air of mystery swells around one promotion in particular, which gives members the chance to receive up to £200 in free bets and £200 in casino cash drops. Sports betting is still the primary focus of everything that BresBet does, and its “back to being a bookie” approach is appreciated by the growing number of people who make it their first port of call for a wager. Crucially, BresBet moved onto its own independent UKGC licence (65252) in February 2025, months before Playbook Gaming’s November 2025 surrender, which is why it kept trading while the rest of the network went dark. That run ended on 28th August 2026, when the Gambling Commission suspended the BresBet licence pending a section 116 review.

DragonBet

Welsh sports fixtures and tournaments can often be overlooked by online bookmakers; as the exception to that rule, DragonBet locks its focus on Welsh sport more than almost any other UK sportsbook. It was part of the same Playbook Gaming stable as Rhino Bet for a period, though it has since moved on to its own operator. Before it was brought into the Rhino Bet sister site family, DragonBet was operated by the iGaming company, E.G.G. Limited., which belonged to the Welsh family who operated the brick-and-mortar stores. When DragonBet proved to be popular, the family owners entrusted Playbook Gaming Limited to take the platform to the next level. That switch in operator meant a change in appearance for DragonBet, and the site has since moved on again, now trading under DragonBet Ltd’s own active UKGC licence rather than the defunct Rhino Bet network.

Rhino Bet News
: This week, Mansion Bet published the full lowdown on Rhino Bet’s livestreaming capabilities, shedding light on how bettors can access live US horse racing through the platform. Unlike many other bookmakers that focus on UK and Irish races, Rhino has taken a different approach by providing coverage exclusively from the US. Whether that is a welcome change or a dealbreaker depends entirely on individual preferences, but for those who follow American racing, the platform offers a straightforward way to watch the action unfold. To access the live streams, users must be logged into an account and have placed a wager on the race they wish to view. While account creation is free, streams are only unlocked for specific events, which are marked with a green triangle icon in the international section of the horse racing page.

Once a qualifying bet is placed, the livestream becomes accessible directly from the race page, allowing users to follow their wagers in real time. The setup is simple, but the limited scope of available races means it may not appeal to those primarily interested in UK and Irish racing. That being said, for punters who focus on US events, the service could prove useful, especially considering how difficult it can be to find reliable livestreams elsewhere. Rhino Bet’s decision to centre its coverage on American races does set it apart from many other bookmakers, though whether that distinction works in its favour or not depends on individual betting habits. For those who frequently place wagers on US horse racing, the option to watch live without the need for an external subscription could be a welcome addition.
: On February 12th, the Rhino Bet blog ensured their readers were brushed up on everything they needed to know to wager effectively on the Everton vs Liverpool derby. With Goodison Park set to host the final league clash between these two city rivals before Everton relocates to Bramley-Moore Dock, there’s more than just local bragging rights at stake. This Merseyside encounter, famously the most ill-disciplined in Premier League history, has often been a breeding ground for heated moments, and with both teams arriving in contrasting but compelling form, there’s plenty to dissect. Liverpool, under Arne Slot’s guidance, hold the advantage at the top of the table, their domestic form largely unshaken despite an uncharacteristic FA Cup exit to Plymouth Argyle.
Their 19-game unbeaten run in the league has cemented them as the team to beat, but this fixture rarely follows the script. Meanwhile, Everton has found fresh momentum under David Moyes, who has orchestrated a run of three consecutive league wins, taking crucial points from Tottenham, Brighton, and Leicester. With eight goals scored and only two conceded in that spell, there’s renewed confidence in the blue half of Merseyside. However, injuries could dampen that optimism. The absence of key attackers, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Dwight McNeil, means Everton will need alternative routes to goal, while new arrival Charly Alcaraz could be given his first proper test. Liverpool’s attacking power remains a major concern for Everton’s defence, with Mohamed Salah continuing to punish opposition backlines. Having already notched 21 league goals this season, he is likely to be a focal point in Slot’s tactical setup.
: While Rhino Bet didn’t rank as one of the top 10 best cricket betting sites in January 2025, as voted by My Betting Sites, it did receive an honourable mention for being one of the best new contenders in the sports betting sphere. The platform has caught attention for its clean and user-friendly layout, particularly in the cricket section, which allows players to navigate easily and find less common betting markets like the Abu Dhabi T10 league. Although it falls short in terms of promotional generosity, with a higher qualifying deposit for free bets compared to its competitors, the overall experience has been praised for its straightforward approach and transparent rewards. Rhino Bet’s rise within a highly competitive space was deemed as noteworthy, particularly when benchmarked against industry leaders like Sky Bet and bet365, both of which dominate cricket betting due to their comprehensive markets and appealing offers.

While it may not have the same depth or breadth of features as some of the more established names, Rhino Bet still manages to deliver solid cricket coverage. My Betting Sites also touched on how players have appreciated its focus on niche competitions, which adds variety to the betting landscape. Despite these positives, areas for improvement remain, especially around its welcome bonuses and existing customer rewards, which don’t currently match the level of some of the bigger players in the market. This limits its appeal to casual bettors seeking more value from their deposits. However, its inclusion as a noteworthy newcomer shows promise for its potential to evolve and compete more aggressively.
: Rhino Bet published a comprehensive betting preview ahead of the Nottingham Forest v Aston Villa Premier League clash at the City Ground on Saturday, 14 December. Both teams were level on 25 points ahead of the match, with Nottingham Forest narrowly ahead in fifth place due to their superior goal difference, while Villa sits sixth. This fixture has added intrigue as both clubs aim to secure spots in European competition, with Nottingham Forest defying expectations under Nuno Espirito Santo and Aston Villa thriving domestically and in Europe under Unai Emery. Forest came into this game on the back of a solid 3-2 victory over Manchester United, highlighting their attacking strength, though defensive lapses remain a concern, with 11 goals conceded in their last six matches.
The City Ground has been a fortress for Forest recently, with three wins in their last four home fixtures. Striker Chris Wood has been in fine form, scoring 10 goals in 15 appearances this season, and his resurgence under Santo made him a key figure in Saturday’s encounter. The Rhino Bet tipsters observed that creative players like Morgan Gibbs-White and Anthony Elanga looked to exploit Villa’s defensive gaps to feed Wood’s goal-scoring appetite. Aston Villa, fresh from a midweek Champions League win at Leipzig, continued to impress under Emery. Their away form has been a highlight, with six wins in their last seven Saturday fixtures on the road. However, uncertainty looms over the fitness of key players Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey, potentially impacting Villa’s attacking edge.
: For a long time, Paddy Power has been unrivalled when it comes to sports comedic commentary, but Rhino Bet gave the bookmaker a run for its money with their incisive rugby league blog “Will Wales Be Walla-Beaten Again?” As Wales prepares to face Australia once more at the Principality Stadium, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Following a series of defeats, including a recent setback against Fiji, the Welsh team is under pressure to turn their fortunes around in this key match. The encounter promises to be a battle of determination and skill, with Wales looking to overcome their defensive challenges that were evident as Fiji found gaps in their lines, even when reduced to 13 men.

Australia, meanwhile, comes into the game off the back of a morale-boosting victory against England at Twickenham—their first win there since 2015. This success has undoubtedly buoyed the Wallabies, heightening their aspirations of achieving an Autumn ‘Grand Slam.’ Notably unpredictable, the Australian team’s performance can swing dramatically, but they will be looking to maintain their momentum with another robust showing. Key players such as Len Ikitau for Australia and Gareth Anscombe for Wales will be critical to their teams’ strategies. Ikitau’s agility and potent offloading capabilities make him a formidable threat, likely to cause significant problems for the Welsh defence. On the other side, Anscombe’s experience is vital for Wales, especially in steering the game’s tempo and securing early points through penalties, which could be decisive in building a much-needed momentum. The forthcoming game is poised to be a high-scoring affair, given both teams’ propensity to leverage their backlines for rapid, dynamic plays. While the odds are steep, Wales is in desperate need of a victory to boost morale ahead of their challenging Six Nations campaign starting in January.
: This week, the website Betting.co.uk reviewed and generously rated Rhino Bet. The sportsbook was acknowledged for its robust range of sports markets, straightforward usability, and how it quickly positioned itself as a no-nonsense option for both sports betting and casino game fans, focusing on simplicity and user-friendly experiences. The website’s minimalist design facilitates easy navigation across its sportsbook and casino sections, making it less cumbersome for users to find their preferred markets or games. In the eyes of Betting.co.uk, Rhino Bet’s sports section offers a commendable variety of betting options, bolstered by in-play betting capabilities that keep the adrenaline running for bettors following live events. The review also notes how, despite its relatively recent arrival on the betting scene, Rhino Bet has already secured a Rising Star in Sports Betting award in 2023, underscoring its potential and commitment to excellence in the industry.
Payment processes at Rhino Bet were described as straightforward, with the platform accepting a range of methods like bank transfers and cheque, though it lacks e-wallet options like PayPal and Skrill, which could improve its accessibility. The withdrawal process is efficient, taking between two to five days without imposing any fees, a factor that might appeal to regular bettors. However, customer support at Rhino Bet shows room for improvement. Currently limited to email communication, the absence of live chat or phone support could detract from the user experience, especially in scenarios requiring immediate assistance. On the security front, Rhino Bet reassures its users with a UK Gambling Commission license and robust encryption protocols to safeguard personal and financial data.
: On the 17th of September, Rhino Bet updated its blog to explain Cover Bets and help their members make smarter and safer sports bets. A cover bet, as detailed in their latest post, is a sports betting strategy that increases your chances of winning by allowing you to bet on multiple outcomes within the same event. This approach is particularly valuable in unpredictable games such as football or horse racing, where the certainty of a single outcome might be difficult to gauge. By deploying a cover bet, you distribute your wager across various potential results, securing a possibility of winning even if not all your selections succeed. For example, in horse racing, rather than backing a single horse to win, a cover bet might involve placing several bets on different horses to finish in the top positions, using bet types like each-way, exacta, or tricast bets.

Cover bets come in several forms including double bets, where you bet on two outcomes, trebles for three, and accumulators, which are more complex and require all selected outcomes to win for a return. These bets offer a way to manage risk more effectively, providing a safety net that can lead to winnings even if some selections don’t perform as expected. The advantages of using cover bets are manifold. They not only decrease the likelihood of losing entirely but also allow both novice and seasoned bettors to engage with betting in a way that aligns with their risk tolerance and understanding of the sport. For beginners, it’s a gentler introduction to the betting world, offering the chance to win without needing perfect accuracy in their picks. Experienced gamblers can leverage cover bets to potentially increase returns, especially in competitions with uncertain outcomes.
: On the 15th of August, the Rhino Bet blog discussed the upcoming UFC action, weighing up who will be the top dogs in each of the fights. The excitement is palpable as UFC 305, set for this Saturday in Perth, Australia, is anticipated to reshape the legacies of several fighters, predominantly hailing from Australia and New Zealand. Among the notable matchups, Carlos Prates is tipped for a victory against the seasoned Li Jingliang. Despite Jingliang’s extensive UFC experience, Prates’ unbeaten streak since his debut earlier this year places him in a favourable position. In another bout, ‘Western’ Tai Tuivasa is set to face Jairzinho Rozenstruik. Tuivasa, a crowd favourite known for his unique victory celebrations, enters as the favoured contender. However, Rozenstruik’s inconsistent performance pattern presents an unpredictable challenge, though Tuivasa’s local support and motivation might tilt the scales in his favour for a decision win.
Further along the card, Mateusz Gamrot is expected to dominate against Dan Hooker. Gamrot’s recent winning streak contrasts with Hooker’s recent challenges, suggesting a possible knockout victory for Gamrot. Another match to watch features Australian Kai Kara-France against newcomer Steve Erceg. Despite Kara-France’s skills, Erceg’s proven record since joining UFC hints at a potential upset by decision in his favour. The main event promises to be a highlight with Dricus Du Plessis and Israel Adesanya vying for supremacy. The buildup has seen both fighters, proudly representing their African heritage, engaging in heated verbal exchanges. Du Plessis, hailing from South Africa, has consistently demonstrated his hunger in the ring, making him the preferred choice for this encounter, especially considering Adesanya’s recent inactivity.
: Ahead of his eagerly anticipated fight, Rhino Bet caught up with Thomas Paull to discuss how he mentally and physically prepares for fight week, providing a fascinating insight into the mind of the pro MMA fighter who has earned himself the fear-inducing title, the ‘Juggernaut’; currently ranked 10th in the Pro Men’s Featherweight class, this upcoming match will either affirm his status or see a fall from grace for the MMA monolith. As the fight night approaches, Thomas Paull, a mixed martial arts competitor known for his relentless strength and strategy, shared his feelings about the imminent challenge. He described a blend of excitement and dread that accompanies the final days leading up to the match, a period filled with rigorous preparation and mental conditioning.

Paull expressed a deep passion for the competition, highlighting his readiness to showcase his skills against Milad Ahady. His training regimen, he noted, has been intense, focusing not just on physical strength but also strategic acumen, ensuring he brings his best form to the ring. However, the days preceding the fight are not without their trials. Paull candidly shared his struggles with maintaining a strict diet to meet the required weight class, a process that often leaves him feeling irritable due to dietary restrictions. Despite the discomfort, Paull remains committed to his goal, acknowledging these sacrifices as a necessary part of his professional journey. The weight cut, while challenging, is a hurdle he is prepared to overcome with the support of his team. He plans to spend the last night before the weigh-in at a hotel, where he can focus on shedding the final kilos in a controlled environment.
: Rhino Bet’s welcome package was mentioned when one of the top tipsters at Betting Odds compiled a list of betting tips for the Spanish Grand Prix. This Sunday, the 23rd of June, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will host the tenth round of the 2024 Formula One World Championship. Max Verstappen, currently leading the Driver’s Championship by 56 points, is the favourite to win his third consecutive Spanish Grand Prix. Meanwhile, Verstappen has demonstrated exceptional form this season, with six wins out of nine races; despite a setback in Monaco, where he finished sixth, he made a strong comeback in Canada. His history at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, including his first win here in 2016, underlines his dominance. The betting odds strongly favour Verstappen, with 4/9 to win the race and 4/6 to be the fastest qualifier.
Betting Odds also points out that Ferrari and McLaren have shown potential, with Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris being notable challengers. Leclerc controlled his home Monaco GP from the front, while Norris pushed Verstappen down to second in Miami. However, reliability issues and track-specific performance could impact their chances in Barcelona. Mercedes, on the other hand, has faced challenges this season but hopes to build on George Russell’s recent podium finish and Lewis Hamilton’s fourth place in Canada. The team is looking to improve further in this race. Aston Martin, with odds of 6/5 for both cars to finish in points, aims to capitalise on Sergio Perez’s three-place grid penalty, hoping to replicate the success from earlier in the season when both their drivers finished in the top ten.
: A player at Rhino Bet has turned to Casinomeister to voice his frustration over a delayed payment, sparking a flurry of responses from the supportive betting community. This incident highlights the importance of community forums, where members rally to provide guidance and support. The issue at hand involved a delayed withdrawal, which had left the player anxious and unsure about the next steps. The original post detailed the member’s concern about not receiving his payment within the expected timeframe. This immediately drew the attention of other Casinomeister members, who shared their experiences and offered practical advice. Several users recommended direct communication with Rhino Bet’s customer support, advising persistence and politeness. They suggested documenting all interactions to maintain a clear record of the communications.

Additionally, some members highlighted the importance of understanding the terms and conditions associated with withdrawals. They noted that delays can sometimes occur due to verification processes or bank processing times, which are often outlined in the casino’s policies. It was also suggested that the player check for any recent changes or updates to Rhino Bet’s payment procedures that might have caused the delay. Others recommended reaching out to Rhino Bet through multiple channels, including email, live chat, and social media, to ensure the issue receives attention. They emphasised the need to remain patient but persistent, suggesting that escalating the matter to a supervisor if initial attempts do not yield results might be necessary. Some members also advised considering the involvement of third-party mediation services if the issue remained unresolved after exhausting all direct contact options.
: The Nottingham Post has unveiled plans for a family-oriented sports day at Nottingham Racecourse on June 2nd, an event sponsored by Rhino Bet. The eagerly anticipated gathering promises to be a day full of excitement and entertainment, tailored to families and offered at no cost for children under 18. The racecourse will transform into a hub of activity with an array of attractions that cater to both the young and the young at heart. Among the highlights are the classic sports day races, where children and adults can experience the thrill of racing on the actual race track, creating a unique and memorable experience for participants. Additionally, the day will feature a wide range of children’s entertainment options that are free of charge. These include various inflatable attractions, a penalty shootout, and a dedicated soft play area for toddlers.
The event is not only about fun and games but also fosters a community spirit. Local sports clubs and teams will be present, providing a platform for them to showcase their talents and for attendees to learn more about local sports initiatives and programs. This aspect of the event underscores its role in promoting community involvement and sports participation among families. Families are encouraged to pack picnics, which adds a personal and cosy touch to the day. They can enjoy their favourite meals and treats in a picnic setting while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of the racecourse. Organised by Rachel Squires, the general manager of Nottingham Racecourse, and her team, the event is set to be a day where laughter, competitive spirit, and cherished moments come together to create a spectacular day out.
Rhino Bet Review – July 2026
Rhino Bet Welcome Offers
Before it closed, new members at Rhino Bet could bet £25 on any market at odds of 1/1 or higher and receive a £10 free bet, expiring within seven days of issue. That was about it in terms of welcome promotions — Rhino Bet was never a site that went over the top with bonuses, positioning itself instead as a serious betting site for people more concerned with the latest odds than with flashy offers. New sign-ups are no longer possible now the brand has closed.

Rhino Bet Was Owned by Playbook Gaming Limited
Rhino Bet was owned and operated by Playbook Gaming Limited, a London-based sports betting company that also built a presence in online casino by giving players access to a broad suite of games and bonuses. Rhino Bet was the most successful and popular of the operator’s brands right up until it closed its UK operations on 26th March 2025, with all outstanding bets voided and existing members given a month to withdraw remaining funds. Playbook Gaming Limited went on to surrender its UKGC remote operating licence entirely in November 2025, shortly after the Gambling Commission handed the firm a £250,000 penalty and formal warning for anti-money laundering and social responsibility failings, and the company has since repositioned itself purely as a platform and technology provider rather than a licensed operator.
Rhino Bet Monthly Promotions
Many of the regular promotions at Rhino Bet are geared towards members who frequent the casino. However, when major sports fixtures come around, there is no shortage of special odds or free bet offers. At the time of writing, the Rhino Bet was promoting an offer for followers of the EFL; after placing a £10 Build-a-Bet on Middlesbrough v Chelsea, members could receive 50% back as a free bet if one leg loses. For online slot fans, the Rhino Reels promotion is giving away 50 free spins when £250 or more is wagered on online slots, plus, there is always the presence of Pragmatic Play Drops & Wins promotions.
Rhino Bet: Pros and Cons
Pros:
- A strong focus on responsible gambling.
- Comprehensive coverage of all major betting markets.
Cons:
- The only way to contact the customer service team is via email.
- Limited payment methods.
Featured Slots and Casino Games
The featured games at Rhino Bet are all of the classic online slot game variety, such as Gold Cash Free Spins, Fishin Frenzy and Bonanza; if you delve a little further into the game library, you will find several officially licenced games, such as Deal or No Deal Slingo, The Goonies, and The God Father. If slots aren’t your thing, there are Instant Win arcade-style games, LuckyTap games, automated table and card games, live casino games and live game show titles, such as Snakes and Ladders Live, Big Bass Crash, and Treasure Island Live.
Deposit and Withdrawal Methods
The only way to add funds to your account is via Mastercard or Visa; Rhino Bet is one of the few sportsbook casinos which do not allow their members to bank via e-wallets, such as PayPal. When it is time to withdraw your winnings, you can expect the transaction to be complete within two–five working days.
Rhino Bet Customer Support and Licence
While it was trading, the only way to get in touch with the Rhino Bet customer support team was by email to customerservice@rhino.bet or via Twitter/X. Rhino Bet was licensed by the UKGC under Playbook Gaming Limited’s licence, 50122, which stayed clean throughout the brand’s lifetime — the closure was a commercial exit rather than a regulatory shutdown of Rhino Bet itself, though Playbook Gaming’s licence was later surrendered following separate compliance failings in November 2025.
Final Thoughts on Rhino Bet
It was hard to find any area Rhino Bet truly excelled in; flaws seemed to crop up everywhere, from the lack of variety in the banking department to the antiquated approach to customer service. Even so, Rhino Bet kept attracting new players right up to its closure in March 2025. Was it the site’s simplicity? Its unusually strong coverage of American horse racing compared to most UK-facing bookmakers? We may never fully know, but it was a perfectly safe and functional bookie while it lasted — never an especially outstanding one, and now, sadly, a closed one.
Rhino Bet Player Reviews
Here are some recent player reviews of Rhino Bet we’ve picked up from around the web. The comments have been edited.
Jon – 20 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot
I joined Rhino Bet last week, dropping about £500 in deposits and ended up pulling out over £600. They asked for KYC docs, which I sent over and got the green light the next day. Despite a few hiccups with withdrawal statuses, I was bracing for the worst after reading reviews here. But, to my astonishment, I got all my withdrawals. The site’s interface is a plus for me too.
Gemma – 20 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot
After winning £200 and attempting a withdrawal, they suspended my account, demanding ID, something they should’ve asked for beforehand. It feels like a scam, especially after winning and now they’re dragging their feet with reopening my account despite sending what they asked for. If they sort it out, I’ll update my review, but for now, I’m left hanging.
Peter – 18 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot
Opened an account with Rhino Bet six weeks ago, and now they’re closing it down for ‘business reasons’. My guess is they didn’t like my winning bets. It’s better to stick with more established betting sites.
Andrew – 14 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot
My experience with Rhino.bet has been positive so far. The website is user-friendly, and although I haven’t hit any big wins yet, the payout was swift. They also responded quickly to my email about an issue. Don’t get why there’s so much negative feedback.
Barry – 12 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot
After depositing £300 and attempting to withdraw £550, my account was suddenly suspended without any explanation. Total scam; avoid at all costs. They’re part of a larger group under the Playbook Gaming umbrella, and they tried to lure me into another one of their sites with the same credentials.
Kath – 8 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot
A total scam site. They took over £800 from my account without authorisation. It’s a fixed site, a complete rip-off. Still waiting for them to get back to me about my money.
Ataman – 5 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot
After verifying my docs and spending £370 on slots, I got 2 bonuses that paid out nothing. I wish I’d checked Trustpilot before falling for this obvious scam. It’s a total scam site, nothing else to be said.
Tony – 4 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot
I opened an account and immediately regretted not checking reviews first. There’s no option to simply close your account, only to self-exclude. It’s appalling. Stay away from Malta operators.
Peter – 4 Feb 2024 – Trustpilot
For your info, Rhino Bet is in a bit of a financial pickle, owned by Playbook Gaming Limited, which is overdue on its accounts. They’d struggle to pay out a big win. With £1.5 million in the bank but overdue financials, it’s clear they’re in trouble. I’ve had a rotten experience: first withdrawal attempt and they suspend my account. They’re quick to take money but block you from withdrawing. The lack of live chat or phone support only adds to the frustration. If I don’t see my money soon, I’m considering legal action.
Pawel – 31 Jan 2024 – Trustpilot
Rhino Bet has been a great casino for me. Everything runs smoothly, payouts happen within a few hours, and the game selection, especially roulette, is fantastic. I’m really happy with my experience!
Rhino Bet FAQs
Is Rhino Bet still open?
No. Rhino Bet closed its UK operations on 26th March 2025. All open bets were voided on that date and existing members had until 26th April 2025 to withdraw any remaining funds.
Who owned Rhino Bet?
Rhino Bet was owned and operated by Playbook Gaming Limited under UKGC licence 50122. That licence covered seven brands in total: Rhino Bet, BetZone, BresBet, DragonBet, Planet Sport Bet, Vickers Bet and Yeeehaaa Bet. Playbook Gaming Limited surrendered the licence entirely in November 2025, after the Gambling Commission fined the firm £250,000 for anti-money laundering and social responsibility failings.
Does Rhino Bet have any surviving sister sites?
Yes, one. BresBet moved onto its own independent UKGC licence (65252) in February 2025, ahead of the Playbook surrender, and carried on trading after the Playbook surrender. That changed on 28th August 2026, when the Commission suspended the BresBet licence over suspected social responsibility and anti-money laundering failings, so BresBet is not trading normally either. BetZone, DragonBet, Planet Sport Bet and Vickers Bet either went inactive or transferred to entirely separate operators, so none of them can honestly still be called a Rhino Bet sister site.
What happened to Rhino Bet customer accounts?
Members were given a window to withdraw their balances following the closure announcement. Anyone who still believes they are owed funds from a Rhino Bet account should contact the Gambling Commission or seek advice via GamCare, since the operating licence for Rhino Bet itself is no longer active.
